Story line:
The story begins with an old man who is never interested in using the advanced technological gadgets as he believes that they divert people from reality. He always makes sure that there is not a single techie gadget inside his home as he hates it. He is a patriotic and old fashioned man who lives a simple life but he joins his in good school where he becomes a great engineer who will be called overseas for one of the most elite projects in human history. As the father gets older and son gets better offers overseas, Son cannot leave his father to his death but yet he leaves for his job. He meets a half japanese woman at work named Hitomi and gets into a relationship. Then seeing him sad about his father’s struggles alone, she suggests him to give his dad a robot as a gift which does all the work at home including the conversations. Father won’t accept it at first but later as the robot starts to understand the life of his, the old man starts to show interest towards the robot and later considers it as his song because his original son is never ready to spend time with him. Some problems occurred as it is a beta version robot and the company won’t get certified so the robot had to be returned. what the old man does as son takes the robot to return was more emotional.
